Cornflower Blue is a beautiful annual wildflower that was much more common in fields years ago than it is today. It is an easy-to-grow flower that is much loved by bees, butterflies, and other pollinators. It grows 70 to 90cm in height and produces striking blue flowers from June to August. It can also be sown late in the year for early flowers the following year.

How to Grow Blue Cornflower From Seed:

Cornflowers do not like to be replanted; therefore, it is best to sow the seeds directly where they are to grow. Prepare shallow drills that are 25cm apart. Sprinkle the seeds thinly into the drill and cover lightly with fine soil. Seedlings should start to show after 2 to 4 weeks.
