The Oxeye daisy (Leucanthemum vulgare, formerly synonym: Chrysanthemum leucanthemum), also known as marguerite or garden chrysanthemum, is a perennial, hardy plant known for its white flowers with yellow centers. The ‘May Queen‘ variety reaches a height of 80 cm and has larger flowers than the wild form, attracting numerous insects.

This low-maintenance plant thrives in almost any soil but prefers well-drained and sunny locations. It is easy to care for, requires little attention and can easily withstand freezing temperatures. The flowers are also excellent as cut flowers and are ideal for natural gardens.
